Welcome to Charis Farm
Charis farm is located in Biashara Ward (behind Nyondia shopping) Centre, Naivasha Sub-County in Nakuru County, approximately 3 km from Nairobi- Nakuru highway. It was established in the year 2020 withfew ornamental birds which has passionately grown into a center of interest for education and tourism not only in the region, but also countrywide. The farm being in pre- urban area, sits on a ¼ acre of landwhich has been well utilized in rearing of: Ornamental Birds. Dairy goat farming. Rabbit farming. Aqua culture farming. Organic urban farming. Agri- business trainings. This has seen the farm gain Agricultural Show of Kenya (ASK) Trophy Award of July 2022, for Best Brahma (Ornamental chicken) and territorialbirds

Message from the CEO
Driven by passion I started rearing few ornamental birds and a goat in a rented space, so space should not be a challenge for you to start your farming project or your dream career.
It was this passion that inspired me to come up with establishment of Charis farm located in Nyondia Biashara ward Naivasha Sub county Nakuru County Kenya.
From a humble beginning, Charis farm is currently hosting more than 50 species of ornamental birds, 200 rabbits, 150 goats, more than 1000 fish, more than 50 species of vegetables and a fully equipped demonstration farm with a fully equipped holiday home together with a conference facility of more than 200 people capacity. Also a training and study center with all facilities on board.

The farm has achieved great milestone hence awarded the best Brahima chicken award ASK show in Nakuru the year 2022, ASK show in Nairobi also awarded 8 trophies being best in peacock, Brahima also the smallest chicken in the world from China (Salama breed). Also awarded outstanding farm of the year gala award in Nakuru County held in Naivasha.
We look forward to empowering the less fortunate in the society whereby the farm offers free services to all PLWDs in the county and the country at large as part of its corporate social responsibility.
Our future plan is getting global market and partners in our field, as we work to achieve more under food security in our society towards vision 2030.
